The "collectible loan" letter I was sent had the loan analyst's name at the bottom, so I was hoping the settlement letter had the same. But as you said, the important point is who actually authorized it.

By the way, at Seagirl's suggestion (thank you!) I sent off an email to Patricia Pikul about our situation. Trying every angle!
