I got a loan modification. I was past due on my mortgage when I applied with NACA in early March. I had read here that NACA takes a while, and that
CW/BofA will not talk to you when you are with NACA, so I stayed the couse and waited. In about a month, the B of A website was updated saying my modification requst was recieved, under review, and collection activities had been suspended. The next time I heard from anyone was on 6/3 when I recieved the email from NACA saying I had been approved. I did have to call my negotiater once to get the documents sent, but that was it. Documents arrived shortly thereafter, and things went smooth from there. I can tell NACA is totally overwhelmed with work, but be patitent, it will pay off. My mod came back better than I thought!
