Re: Forebearance?? Yea or nay?

Hi Plan A-Z, if you're collecting unemployment, most likely, NACA will submit you for a forbearance, but that's not always the case. I have seen one or two on this board who have gotten a MOD with unemployment, but most that collect unemployment, don't qualify for a MOD as they don't consider that permanent income. My husband is collecting unemployment, and we were submitted for a forbearance, and there is no way we are going to turn that down. NACA said they submitted it, which they don't always like to do, but in our situation, it is "buying" time and giving my husband time to look for a job, and when he does get a job, they will resubmit us for a MOD...so I don't think it's too bad. I'll take what I can get right now.
