| Re: Wells Fargo Modification Denied I've been skimming through this site and starting to get the feeling that I won't qualify. My deficit is close to $3000 and I haven't been delinquent yet. I'm only in this situation because I've been laid off. All I need is job to say that the situation is improving. However, I've been job hunting for the past 8 months without an offer(not even being picky anymore) and I don't see the situation changing in the next 6 to 12 months.
I also have unemployment benefit and savings that would keep me afloat for next 5mo or so. Then, onto stocks, 401k and such. Then I'll be flat broke.
With that, why would WF approve an adjustment?
Any thoughts on this? Is it even worth the effort with the odds? I might as well use the time to look for work, perhaps.
BTW, When WF (supposedly) mailed the form to me 2 weeks ago, but it got lost--I never recieved it. Of all the mail transactions I've done in my life time, I know of only 2 cases of "lost mail." Both cases very important and urgent. WF being one of them. Is this one of their tricks that banks do? |
