Dear Homeowner:
I want to update you on your file which has been submitted to your Servicer/Lender (Servicers). While we have obtained solutions for tens of thousands of homeowners we have not yet achieved your NACA Restructure Solution to permanently reduce your mortgage payment to an affordable amount. A number of the Servicers have delayed the approval of the NACA Restructure Solution waiting for President Obama's plan to be finalized. They are now working with NACA since the Obama Administration has made it clear that their plan (Home Affordable Modification Program – HAMP) is the minimum standard and the Servicers must implement NACA's Restructure Solution.
Servicers are now working through the backlog of NACA submissions. NACA announced today the hiring of over 1,000 people to work with homeowners to achieve the NACA Restructure Solution. We may be contacting you for additional documentation required by the Servicers to complete the approval process. We are determined to assist everyone. Our strategy is to make sure that no one loses their home to foreclosure or gives up while we continue to advocate and fight for your NACA Restructure Solution. This strategy is working for many homeowners and we expect it will work for you.
We will continue to aggressively advocate for your solution. You will hear from us within the next four weeks. I know that for some of you, it has been a long process. Please be assured that we are fighting everyday to achieve your NACA Restructure Solution. We are winning so do not give up! More Servicers, Lenders and Investors are agreeing to NACA’s Restructure Solution. We are by far the most effective program in the country. Also, if the Servicer or Investor refuses to accept your restructure solution we will provide you with information to continue the advocacy. The hiring of an additional 1,000 staff, with hundreds to be hired immediately, along with NACA’s non-violent “Bank Terrorism” approach (i.e. we hold the Servicers/Lenders' CEOs personally responsible), gets the results. Be assured that NACA is the best program in the country for getting long-term affordable solutions.
