I had the same problem as far as DTI and was wondering what the magic numbers were in order to get a mod. I was originally denied a mod because I was in the negative. I spoke with a CW rep who said they like to see you in the positive about $300. I'm redoing my loan mod because the first one they offered, I still can't afford.
