Hi,
Maybe it is because my loan is WaMu owned..not Fannie Mae. We'll see what they say...really hope the $1740 is PITI. Do you know if you can negotiate again after the 3 month trial...like if your gross income goes down?

Sounds like a good plan on the credit cards. I've been considering bankruptcy on myself only (not my husband) but I really don't want to do it. I've been told that if you don't have any assets to take....why claim bankruptcy?? Just hard to not pay them and just leave it like that. Would hate for them to garnish wages or something. I don't know how I could come up with all the settlement amounts...would take forever (a lot of debt) and I don't think we are going to have much left over each month. Also, I believe you have to claim the amount that is forgiven on your taxes. I'm not sure which way to go on this.
