Re: SUCCESSFUL LOAN MODS(5yrs fxd) PAY ATTENTION (THE BATTLE IS OVER BUT THE WAR HAS JUST BEGUN)

here is a new twist
i wanted to increase my girlfriends available credit through asking an exisiting creditor (j.p. morg chase) for a credit line in crease as this usually does not count as an inquiry against you as it is treated as a review.
so when we called chase and ask for an increase they asked for permission to review her credit. and we garanted it. no keep in mind i called chase . but they pulled the credit through thier subsidiary first usa bank so it looked like an inquiry for new line of credit and cost her 12 points on her fico. i was able to dispute it because we authorised chase and not first usa . and it has been deleted . still havent gotten the 12 points back yet.

So Be Aware.

also if you have problem with a creditor and the person you talk to on phone doesnt seem to be able to help you ask for thier supervisor and if that person cant help you ask for thier supervisor.(be level headed)

I had to do this with the above mentioned case. until i got supervisors voice mail and left a message. which they did return. (i had already disputed it through the credit bureau as an unauthorised inquiry and had it removed)
but i let that supervisor know that i was not happy cause in my wifes current situation of closing on a new loan in 2 weeks that if the new lender pulls a credit report b4 closing and sees we were trying to open a new credit acct. it could have caused complications. in some cases people loose loans cause of this. the supervisor agreed with me that it these times that the stricter underwriting guidlinesthis could have been problematic.
she did not hower ever say that they would stop thier practice of pulling credit through thier subsidiary. which i feel is completely fraudulent.
IF I WANT YOUR SUBSIDARY PULL MY CREDIT I"LL CALL THEM!
have a great day
