Hang in there. My modification took 6 months to complete with
CW...I called every week for that long and didn't get the same answer twice...
As you have experienced, sometimes being persistent can you get you a result that seemed impossible earlier. As long as they keep your request in active processing, you are good. Sometimes my info would disappear online, and I would always call just to be sure that nothing had been cancelled. Stay on top of them, and you should come out okay in the end.
