Good morning everyone.

Interesting remarks with regard to B of A's procedures. It appears that everyone is not being treated the same and there does not appear to be any rhyme or reason to it all. Remember, there are things going on behind closed doors and in back room meetings we have no access to. These companies are soulless entities and the people working for them have been taken into the folds of a philosophy that cares nothing about our meaningless little problems.

Lets face it, we took a gamble-most of us anyway. I certainly did. I was ill informed and got wrapped up in the so called "American Dream"of owning a home. Everyone around me was telling me this is what I needed in my life, but what I missed was the fact that there is a proven formula that one can use to make the dream a blessing. The formula I used has made this situation a curse-or has it?

I am currently in "RECAST" status. Get this, how about I make you a loan for the amount you are currently in arrears, place these thousands of dollars in a separate account, and then have you make an additional payment on this account but leave your mortgage alone so that you know have the same payment plus the additional RECAST payment each month. Sound good to anyone here?

This is exactly the type of offer I've been in consideration for since 03/31/2009. I have told B of A I will refuse this idiotic offer, and still they continue to move forward on it.

When I ask them the time line between refusal/denial of mod and the notice of default, I am told this is an unanswerable question. I already know that there is 110 days from the day of filing of this notice and the lien sale per California State Law.

Any and all information with specific regard to the time line mentioned above will be greatly appreciated. Of course, a short sale would be my next best move in lieu of foreclosure.It seems there are hidden agenda's within all we face in this horrible mess. But, I have had the best of educations with regard to financial matters big and small. An education that rivals the best of any University. My life has been changed, all for the better.
