Hi all, hope everyone's hanging in with the journey.

I received an update on our loan modification status now in the B of A process. This is a loan modification for a 30 year pay option ARM. The good news is that the following is stateside:

The sequence of events today:

Called main B of A number: 1.800.720.3758

Transferred to B of A home retention number: 1.800.262.4218

The B of A representative had our loan modification information right on screen:

Final modification package to be sent by 5/19/09

As the loan account holders, we have been asked to call in on the following dates:

5/5/09

5/13/09

5/20/09 (call after receipt of the FedEx on 5/19/09)

30 Days to review modification offer. Signed, notarized.

We were told to disregard "intent to accelerate" as long as our loan was "active" in the load modification time frame (4/28/09 to 5/20/09)

The loan modification call check-in number for B of A: 1-800-669-6654.

We'll see how this plays out, but at least B of A gives a clear update status, milestone dates, some hope of resolution.

Hope others find this B of A info helpful. Curious if others are finding consistencies in the information given by B of A since the switch from CountryWide.
