Hi, I am in the same boat. I owe
CW $530400 ARM 5/1 at 6% interest only. My equity is $80000 gone. House is worth $378000. I tried to modify since 01.17.09. They just offered me special forbearance payments which is allowed to add past due payments in unpaid principal and monthly mortgage payment is more than what I already couldn't afford to pay. I did not sign agreement
Anyone has experienced to not making payments as long as we can to stay free and save enough money for plan B, please post the infor. I have not paid for 3 months already.
