I tried to get my loan mod for over a year, still no help, on my third attempt(dec 2008) countrywide did send me a mod, but for an extra 600 a month,

, I didn't really understand why would they go up instead of down, my house was brought for 125,000, now it's worth about 70,000. I haven't sent a payment in since Jan 2009, I haven't heard from countrywide since?? So I'm just waitng to see what will happen, I refuse to keep paying for this house for the rest of my life, when the house down the street went for 30,000
