| Re: Home Affordable Modification on 40 yr mortgage and navigating Chase I called the executive number again, they were nice but it has been several days since my call and they have not called back as promised. Have been able to leave a couple messages with my analyst but her voice mail is usually full and she never returns calls when I am able to leave messages. I spent about an hour between transfers and being placed on hold today (customer service to loss mitigation to area that handles Fannie Mae to the outsourced retention department). It took a while but I got a very helpful person in the Fannie Mae area (877-419-6490) who took the time to listen and research. What he told me was that although I talked to an analyst on 4/1 who gave me a May 1, 2009 forbearance payment amount and said I would have paperwork in two weeks, I basically started over when the retention department sent me a FedEx and they supersede everything that has been done with my analyst. Then he suggested I talk to the retention department (1-800-435-3412) who said I should get paperwork in 2-3 weeks from when I originally gave them my financial info over the phone. I guess I’ll keep waiting and calling. |
