I spoke to a woman who told me it will take 90-120 days before I will hear back from them about any status, approved or denied. I said that is not acceptable. The woman became angry and interrupted me. She said there are over 1 Million people asking for modifications, which I said is not the customer’s problem it is theirs. I also found out my loan is categorized as a 30 year fixed BC which is a subprime loan.
In the end I decided to apply for modification assistance from NACA “Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America, a certified HUD counseling agency. I do not want to deal directly with countrywide again. |
That was such a waste of time for you! Ugh...I hope NACA can resolve things swiftly!
