I just received news yesterday that my modification was denied. I too are in a neg am loan here in California, I owe $645k. I have a decent income and show a surplus every month. I was told simply that the investor (they won't tell me who the investor is) denied the modification even though i'm supposed to be part of the AG settlement. Good luck with Countrywide, they don't know up from down. Nice purchase B of A, you really picked a winner!
