Yes, you schedule a phone appointment with NACA to go over everything you submitted. SOmething got screwed up when I tried to schedule my over-the-phone appointment on-line and it scheduled me for an in-person (new home purchase) appointment! Ooops! Anyway, I called our local office and I am scheduled for a phone meeting tomorrow at noon. I will ppost my experience about it tomorrow. I know this is gonna take a while...
You are right, I am having trouble letting go. THe first time I did with our second, I was freaked...it got easier though. This month I paid the second on time for the first time since September. I have paid that one about 3 weeks late each month for the last 6 months or so. The renter I kicked out showed up on Sunday with one of the 2 months rent she had owed me before I kicked her out. That was unexpected! I thought I would never see a dime!! I think we will make it just barely but I will probably have to borrow a couple hundred to float until we get paid on the 26th. My husband and I both only get paid twice a month on the 10th and 26th...... Sometimes it's hard to make the stretch.....
