Since you are in a "loan forbearance process" I will assume you have already contacted
CW with a hardship letter.
No, thery are not very sympathetic..they are concerned with making as much as possible.
You may want to contact NACA:
https://www.naca.com/refinance/refinanceSubmission.jsp They are a non-profit homeowners advocacy group that is HUD approaved. There is no cost. WHen you go to their site, it will explain how to set up an appointment with a counselor, and they will then contact and negotiate with
CW on your behalf.
