We have been trying to get help with
CW for about 5 months now, we have always been on time with our payments, but have been hit hard this year with extreme hardship. we lost 2 brothers and my mother in one year and then the worst..We lost our 26 year old son in June of 2008 and now my husband is on disability for depression. We make enough money to pay our expenses, but we now have nearly 2000 dollars in late fees. we are never going to be current at this point. I have called to ask about the possibility of them waving at least some of the late fees but they will not budge. These people have no compassion at all. we don't qualify for a modification, we have a fixed 30 year loan, we are underwater by about 100,k any suggestions on how to handle this? we just want to be caught up. right now we are in something called a loan forbearance process that we should hear something in 30 to 60 days, it has now been 40 days. any help would be great.
