Walking, although you didn't ask me, I would send a letter to the CEO of the servicer and the investor doing the following: 1) confirming the mod that you agreed to, and 2) enclosing the first check as payment. Send the copy of the check to the CEO of the investor and the actual check to the servicer, and send them both by UPS or FedEx.
