First off it is not your fault, last thing you want to do is take the burden of all this! I know it doesn't help your particular situation but there are thousands and thousands of people just like you going through the same exact thing. Hold your head high and do whatever you have to do to keep your home with pride! First thing you need to do is take every spare moment and read all you can here on how others are working there way through this mess. Trust me before I found this site I was close to jumping off a cliff to get my family the insurance $$. After spending several weeks reading here I have gained a ton of imformation on how to battle for my home. Knowledge is what you need to get yourself and family through this.
I am currently going on 9 months behind on my mortgage and having two previous sale dates and 1 tax sale date (March 19th) and I am still fighting!
CW has made me a loan mod offer that was terrible so I decided to fight harder. I will be going to a NACA workshop this weekend to enlist there help in this fight.
My suggestion for you is to stop selling everything to feed these criminal banks! They are still going to throw you out if they can regardless of what you sold. Keep your belongings and learn everything you can about fighting them on the same playing field. You need to be strong and focused. If you start falling behind on payments then so be it! Just don't sell your soul to these vampires without a major battle. Before you can battle them you need to learn how, so read up my friend, sign on with NACA and get the bank to start jumping through hoops to keep you in your home!
