Are you loan fixed rate loans? Are you current on your loans? If so, they are advised to tell you that there is no assistance available at this time. This is because there are so many people behind or with upcoming adjustments that are needing assistance. If you can make your payment, mortgage companies see that as no real hardship. We all know that thats not always the case (although very often it is.) If you truly have a hardship and cannot make your payments, I would suggest contacting NACA for assistance or when you call, demanding to speak with the office of the president for more assistance.
