Retro, the reason why I'm not celebrating is because I've been through this once already and got rejected. Like your friend; I also did the 3 month repayment plan and the resending of a p & l statement; only to be told the numbers didn't justify a loan mod. My $200 surplus became a $950 surplus; so I expect the same thing to happen and to lose my home anyway. My girlfriend said I should pay an expert to do my next p & l statement 3 months from now and I shouldn't do it myself again. She's probably right. She usually is. I hope your friend has some luck with Aurora.
