Yes, Florida was one of the worst hit areas of the country. Rents have gone down significantly and there is a surplus of houses looking for renters....it's so competative trying to keep them rented.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. At least you have started the ball rolling with the loan mods. How long have you been waiting on approval?
