Ok I need help with greenpoint. We are going on the 3rd month of trying to do a mod. They have gotten all the paperwork, did an appraisal and now it is as if we have dropped of the face of the earth. In addition to this mod (1st mtg). we are trying to do a mod with our 2nd mortg. (citi bank), the only info citibank needs is a 30 day payoff from greenpoint. they will not get me the payoff. I have left several messages with the person working on the mod, have faxed several requests asking for this (as per their policy). I don't know what to do. By not getting the 30 day payoff citi won't finish the mod. So the problems are two fold, no payoff no moditication on 2nd mtg and no idea what happened with Greenpoint. I wondering if there are some people higher up with the company I could contact. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Joy |
