I filled out a loan modification form online on Friday night at
*Ocwen Financial Corporation. Going through this process requires having your income and expense information available. It had asked if I had any IRAs, 401k, CDs that could be withdrawn to make payments. I answered "NO."

I know I could, but I do not want to dip into the minimal savings that I have for a short-term fix that may result with no change to the current situation. After I had filled everything out, the final message said to fax my hardship letter to 407-737-6174 with the following:
-2 recent pay stubs
-Last year's W2 and tax return
-2 most recent bank statements
Do you think it's the right move to start this process with OCWEN as I wait for a response regarding my Countrywide loan? Will there be a problem if I try taking care of both accounts at the same time?
