Stay proactive
Call CW directly and ask for the work out department and request the package you need in order to start the modification process. Remember, your hardship letter is not acceptable if it is not signed. If countrywide is not responding to you then you should consider hiring a real estate attorney. Your adjustment date will be upon you very shortly – remember time and diligence is of the essence.
