Re: Saxon Loan Modification - Not Late, Though

Thank you, Tiffany. I spoke to a different person today and now she's telling me it's taking 15 business days to get assigned to a workout negotiator. Man, it gets longer every time I call. Basically she told me I have to call every day and see if either the package has been flagged for being incomplete or if we've been assigned a negotiator.

Your post, however, brings up another concern. Will they work with us if we've never been late? We don't want to be late, we just want to be able to afford the mortgage payment and if we don't get the loan modification, there's no way. Has anyone ever heard of someone getting a loan modification approved if they're not, nor have ever been, late but can't afford the adjusted payment? Logically you'd think the mortgage company would want to work with you when you're proactive about these things but then, why apply logic to the situation?
