As I said before I also think it is a good idea to send confirming letter to the lender after any conversation. The lender will give you the address on the phone, and it will help to document the file and move your case along. What would you rather say to the new negotiator on a file :

I spoke to Sally Smith from your office last week and she said she would do ……

Or

Pursuant to my letter of [date] you authorized agent agreed to do the following on or before [date]. Please check the file, I will hold.

The letter just works for you and its only 41 cents!
