thank you for calming me down...no easy task! we got lucky on our first home and have six figures equity. we put all the money towards this one...and we were still subprime. good to know the equity may help us at this point. we happened to live in an area outside chicago where they were doing teardowns and wanted our lot. when we refinanced for our first time, again with countrywide, they told us just to refinance in six months for a prime rate. obviously that didn't happen. really appreciate your responses...and everyone elses...makes me feel so not alone. being a newbie, it matters very much, thank you! we do not want to walk away. it's our home and we want to keep it. never thought...oh well. thank you again! |
