if, in illinois, there is a surplus of funds IF/AFTER foreclosure, would we get it back? we are house rich and cash poor. am very concerned about our equity. negotiator anthony macon at countrywide said he 'believes' it goes back to the borrower. we could sell, IF WE HAD TO, and still clear some. don't want to. told him i am two miles from where i grew up. his response is that they don't want the house. but they don't have anything to lose do they? i am so rattled by this...know i need to get a grip. thank you again. |
