Is your lender Countrywide? since you posted in that section I would have thought so............but you never know.....
For a modification you will have to show a surplus..............so when you do the household income versus the household expeses do you show a surplus of around $100-$250 at the end of month?
What is the current interest rate?
What is the balance of the loan?
What is the current value of the home?
How many months are you past due?
Are taxes and insurance paid?
