| Re: Mozilo on distressed borrower's appeal for help: "disgusting"
The words of Countrywide's CEO speak volumes about why this company needs to be put out of business. I recognize that there are good people working for this company, but its leadership needs to be replaced. My personal hope is that by the time government investigations end Mr. Mozilo truly regrets the harm he has caused to borrowers and this Country through the policies he is responsible for instituting that ignored prudent lending practices. The only way I think to do this is to separate Mr. Mozilo from his wealth and perhaps provide him with the opportunity to spend some time wearing an orange suit picking up trash by the side of the road.
