This is a very serious situation and you really need an attorney right away to assist you in dealing with Countrywide and the attorney. You also need the ability to pay your mortgage.
Remember this is loss mitigation for Countrywide and it is business. They evaluate each case on how much loss they will incur if they are not to give you a
loan modification and in this case, they would gain by not working with you because you have so much equity.
