Thanks a bunch for your words of encouragement! I really feel like the thing with Hayseed, my cartoon character "is it" this time around and something really big could result from it.
But... as for the foreclosure trial, I'm feeling lost in the legal system. As I said, being deaf is a huge disadvantage for me. I have NO idea just what kind of evidence is admissible in court (and I have plenty of evidence of fraud, etc., etc. but have no idea whether it's admissable or not). That's why I would feel a lot better having a competent lawyer advocating for me. The judge overseeing my case just doesn't "get it" about these securitized loans and the plaintiff not having the legal standing to foreclose, blah, blah, blah.....
If I could just get the lawyer who was involved in the Landmark National Bank vs. Kesler case (landmark ruling by the KS Supreme Court against MERS), then I would feel a WHOLE lot better! But chances are he wouldn't take me on because of lack of cold hard $$$
