I guess I am confused on this one.............if you were not late realistically and you don't have a hardship......what are you asking for in the modification?
Is your interest rate adjusting soon to where you won't be able to handle the new payment amount?
I just am not following because it sounds like if they were to correct your situation with the back payments that you made, your loan would be o.k.........I read back to your original post and didn't see what interest rate you are at.........
