We DO want to stay in the house, and we CAN afford it. That's why we are so baffled by this!!!! All we want to do is pay! They just keep telling us not to pay, and we are getting further and further behind. Now they are threatening us with foreclosure because we haven't paid. It's a mess.

More than anything, we want to stay. And next to that, we don't want our reputation in our community to be smeared in all the local papers under the foreclosure section. We have kids in school and this would be devastating in our small town.
