Re: Received a trial mod from GMAC

I'm wondering the same thing due to this clause in the mod agreement:

The lender will hold the payments received during the trial period in a non-interest bearing account until they total an amount that is enough to pay my oldest delinquent monthly payment in full. If there is any remaining money after such payment is applied, such remaining funds will be held by the lender and not posted to my account until they total an amount that is enough to pay the next oldest delinquent monthly payment in full.
My dh and I have been just barely managing to pay our mortgage each month before the 30 day late reflects on our credit and are afraid that the mod will show us as late. I'm interested in the answer to this as well.
