It is a 3 months forbearance without payments. Who knows why. I am waiting on the phone now with NACA.

It says the dollar amount that I am behind and all the late fees. I think that they are saying they will give me 3 months to come up with the behind payments. What a joke!

But the Fannie site does say that they will give you a forbearance and then it will be followed with a mod. I want the NACA mod so I can move on with my life with an affordable loan.
Pray for me, please!
OMG! Are you serious? What did NACA say? PLEASE let me know. That's just crazy! You know, I'm tired of all this crap, if I get a stupid forbearance or a MOD, that's not going to even matter. I will never be able to sell this house, it doesn't even seem like it's worth it anymore. The value went down almost 100k. I'm in Las Vegas. Thinking of just walking away to put all this sh!t behind me and try to buy a home in about 4 years (if ever). Start over. If there's one thing I have ever regretted is wasting my good credit on this house. We only purchased 10 months ago. My husband lost his job 2 months after we moved here. I'm the only one working, and he's collecting unemployment. As soon as we moved here, the value on these townhomes dropped! The sales office was selling them 60k below what we paid and for the same model 2 months later. They sold the model homes fully furnished for $170,000 last month! And left us with a half empty community (DR Horton). I wish I never became a homeowner, rather have still been renting. Never knew owning a home was such a pain in the @ss! First time homeowner here and we worked our butts off. Oh well, live and learn not to ever buy during a recession. But how were we to know poor husband was going to lose his job. UGH! Sorry, just needed to rant.
