PB ~ no news on my front, except that once I called WaMu/Chase to inquire whether bankruptcy would affect my loan mod, Chase appears to be rushing to judgment on my outstanding CC debt. I think I made a bad move.

Marie ~ congratulations on closing on your deal!! Talk about coming at a good time! Sounds like Loan Counselor is good as a sounding board..not much else. Tough to find people who have leverage here. My brother says to write letters with a cc to my Senator, since there seems to be pressure from the Govt to help homeowners. I will probably give it a try if a permanent mod fails.
