| Re: Wachovia and HAMP modification-anyone having success? I called the Executive team at Wachovia and they actually picked up the phone. The man
did call me back and said they can foreclose even when the loan is under modifcation. This is
NOT what they are telling people over the phone.
I also called Naca and the man seemed quite sharp. He seemed to understand quite well the
games the mortgage companies play. I have an appointment next Monday and he is even
working through his lunch hour to see me.
However, what else should I be doing except calling Wachovia every day?
Contacting an attorney???? Does it make sense to file chapter 13 bankrupcy and just
not send them the paperwork for they dismiss the case to buy time? I need to buy
time. Fortunately, I have had a reversal in my finances...large raise at work of
over 10k a year starting in January.
The home will probably appraise for between 180-190 and I owe 122. I have a lot
of equity, how do I protect my equity if they foreclose?
Any sure fire way to stop the sale date????? Is NACA good at stopping a sale date
and getting a modification?????
