I'm I correct in my understanding that if you accept the MAP offer from Wachovia you can NOT apply and/or be eligible to receive the HAMP program? I'm now in foreclosure on a Wachovia Pick-A-Pay, just went through the phone interview application for the MAP last week, should hear something soon I think.

If I do receive a MAP offer, likely w/ little to no principal reduction and way off the HAMP's target of 31%, can I then just go ahead and apply for the HAMP Program through Wells or Wachovia? Im still trying to understand this moratorium situation in California. Any input is appreciated....
