Re: Failure is not an option for us....

Cassie

What great news about the biopsy!!

Hang in there for the modification.

I called NACA tonite and they received my additional paperwork.
Rep told me that they are now being asked to provide this for everyone by the banks.

Still no answer as to why I can't see my loan docs on the website any longer. Rep told me that they sometimes do that when you are working with NACA, but this just happened a couple of days ago. Also rep told me that payments that CW/BofA accepted since Feb should be held in escrow because of the mod, but they aren't, I can see where they were applied to prin., int. and mortgage insurance. Told her that when I called last month they would not accept unless I was paying both months plus late fees.
Tomorrow I am going to try calling David L. I know he can't tell me anything much, but maybe I can at least find out if anyone has even actually looked at the file since May when they emailed for updated proof of income.

Had a collector from Chase CC suggest we call Greenpath for help paying our bill because we didn't have enough to make the payments they wanted. Now how does Greenpath help me if I just don't have the funds to pay with, since all they will do is try to set up a repayment plan with funds we don't have. LOL

.
Michigan legislature today passed a mortgage foreclosure bill, it states that when a customer falls into foreclosure, the lender must now wait an additional 90 days before setting a sale date in order to afford more time to find a way to modify the loan. I guess anything helps especially since it takes so long for the banks to approve a modification.
We are the number 1 decling home market in the country. Yeah for us! Number 1 in unemployment, top 10 in foreclosures, 1 declining home market. Now where to go but up here!

We are also hanging in there, just barely. So very tired of it all. At our ages 56 and 57 we should be getting ready to enjoy retirement in a few years, not worrying about saving our home, and wondering how to pay the bills. Not what we expected at this stage of our lives . But we do have many blessings to be thankful for and I just have to remember to count them everyday, as do we all.
