Foreclosure in Minnesota at least Minneapolis is a fairly long process. At least six weeks for a Sherriff's sale and another six months for a redemption period in a home that is being occupied.

It depends on how good a loan mod you are being offered. And how upside down your home is.

And whether or not you have a Plan B in case they do not follow through.

If your workout loan payment is a reasonable % of your income and it sounds like you have been riding the workout waves for awhile looks like you have nothing to lose by working with them.
