One thing you can do if it seems your expenses are too high is cut them down and/or cancel them altogether,like cable,phone,etc. Also, in my case I told them to "zero" out my credit cards (I have many) in effect saying I have no credit card payments. I tried this after some advice from NACA as I too was denied for a mod several times before. Now I am being considered for a mod,and told to wait a month for the decision.

At this point,my goal is to keep my house,and if I default on my cards,oh well. I need a roof over my head.
