I think my best option if WAMU/Chase will not give me a mod based on that I have reduced outgoing expenses as much as I can, then I will have no choice but to go the legal route and I think they will lose.

I would rather do a win-win even though I might win more going the legal route it will get really ugly because once I decide to do that I will be out for blood! I have been in litigation before and have won so I know what I am getting into but really prefer not to go that route.

As far as the cc's, I need to check all the law on what bill collectors can legally do and just be prepared.
