I think everyone that was recently submitted for a mod is just now finding out about the additional documents. I talked to a counselor yesterday at NACA. She told me that the added request for docs is basically BoA/Fannie Mae covering their bases. They were so loose with actual proof of income before. I was questioning the need to fill out the 4506-T form and the need to send in my last tax return. I am wondering if this is just a new way to stall on approving mods.
In addition to all the bailout money
CW/BoA/Fannie Mae received, they are also being compensated for each mod they approve. I just hope things will start to improve for all of us. This is the most exhausting thing I have ever gone through.
