BRIEF: Number of Appeal to Credit Registry Increase Half as Much

(Source: A.Akhundov Trend News Agency, Baku, Azerbaijan (MCT) — Service of centralized credit register (CCR) at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) received 51,562 appeals in February, the CBA said.

The number of appeals to the service has increased by 1.53 times compared to the same period in 2011.

In February, the service received 51,447 inquiries from banks, 115 persons applied to obtain their own credit reporting.

There were 1,213,846 borrowers in the credit registry and the total number of credit data amounted to 3004463 by the end of February.

CCR began operating in March 2005. For a single query to the registry on the individual rate is 1.1 manat, the legal person – two manat. Credit registry does not pursue commercial objectives, and tariffs are introduced to cover administrative costs.

Official exchange rate on May 13 is 0.7859 AZN/USD
